We know how difficult it can be to find sexy lingerie! So, we’ve put together a list of our top 10 wardrobe sites for you to choose from. We’ve got sites for every budget and every body type. Scroll through and find some inspiration for your next boudoir shoot!
Yandy.com is the perfect website if you’re looking for a HUGE selection of lingerie. There’s a mix of both simple extra sexy pieces. They even have a new Playboy collection so you can channel your inner Playboy bunny! While the selection large, you’ll have to really dig thru the website to find simple pieces (if that’s your style). Many of the options are very spicy and borderline stripper (which isn’t so much my style of photograph, but it’s your shoot not mine). They also have a great selection of sexy plus size lingerie. Another bonus, the lingerie is super affordable! You don’t have to worry about breaking the bank to look sexy and I love that there’s a huge variety for women of all shapes and sizes. 😉
This one is for my curvy girls! Hip and Curves has some of the sexiest pieces I’ve seen for gals over a size 12. They have tons of styles from corsets to bodysuits and lots of lace. They are lacking in color variety, though. While they do express that their clothes are made with curves in mind, their size selection ranges from XS to 6X. So, they definitely have options for EVERY BODY! Another plus, they offer free returns just in case you’re not happy with your items and they’re budget friendly.
Where do I even begin with Shein?! If you’ve haven’t heard of Shein yet, stop what you’re doing and go look at their website. After spending 5 minutes on the site, you’ll see why everyone is OBSESSED. Not only is everything cheap (I mean no more than $15 on most items, cheap) everything is super cute. There are so many options to choose from! They have plenty of coupon codes so that you can really go on a mini lingerie shopping spree. The biggest issue most people have with Shein is that their products are hit or miss. While everything is cheap and there’s tons of options, not everything is true to size or great quality. So, before you add things to the cart, make sure you read thru the reviews to see about the quality and the fit.
Savage X Fenty, Rihanna’s amazing lingerie line, has some super sexy options! If you want to step out of your comfort zone, this line is for you! While they do have regular bra/panty sets, they also have options like cupless teddies and catsuits 😍 One of my favorite things about this line is that the options for their lingerie aren’t basic. You won’t find only plain red or black lace sets on this site. From bright florals to tigers stripes, you’ll find plenty of sexy options to choose from. This line also caters to all body types. You won’t find just skinny models showing off this lingerie and you can see real bodies and imagine yourself in these pieces. The price for the lingerie is average with a monthly membership that gives you access to discounts. Just don’t forget to skip the month if you don’t shop because you’ll be charged!
Fredricks of Hollywood has some of the nicest lingerie I have seen in a while. Everything looks very classy which is why some may say it’s high end and pricey. But, don’t let that shy you away because you can always catch a sale! Fredricks has a selection of items for all body types. Some of my favorite items are the corsets. From lace to leather, they have a nice selection of corsets (which photograph beautifully in boudoir photographs). If you’re looking for some extra sexy pieces, I wouldn’t visit this site. Although they do have an “ultra sexy” section, I think those pieces are still very much in the classy realm.
Honey Birdette . . . WOW! This is a more pricier lingerie site but lemme tell ya, their pieces are sooo different from the usual. The bodysuits and bras are really gorgeous. Do I think they’re worth $100+? That’s for you to decide but I’m not sure I would pay for it for just a shoot (I’d prolly only do if I really LOVED a piece and wanted if for more than the shoot). They also have AfterPay for those that need it! They definitely don’t cater to all body types (most sizing going up to XL) which is a bummer. But, overall they have some beautiful pieces worth checking out.
Victoria’s Secret is by far the lingerie that clients bring in the most and still seems to be the go-to for most women. VS has went through tons of changes the last few years, and some think they have went down in quality quite a bit. I will say that they still produce lingerie that is good for a photo shoot but not sure I would spend on it for every day lingerie. Another site that doesn’t really cater to different body types (some products only going up to XL). Also if you’re looking for some simple pieces, VS is definitely a go-to.
8. Forever 21
What, you want a simple cheap bodysuit? Forever21 is the way to go. They don’t really have a huge variety but they do have some cute pieces. Simple bras and panties for under $15 too! Forever21 is another shop that doesn’t cater to all body types (most items catering to slimmer women). You definitely can find accessories on Forever21 – socks, jewelry and oversized sweaters! Perfect for your boudoir shoot!
Another one for my curvy girls! Cacique by Lane Bryant sizes range from 12 to 36 and bra from 34 to 54, B to K! This shop has some cute options but there isn’t a wide variety of pieces to choose from (which is super disappointing). They have a section labeled “sexy lingerie” which pretty much entails a bunch of babydolls and a few bodysuits (I don’t recommend traditional baby doll cut if you have a really big chest—that cut adds weight). You’ll have to comb through the website to find something you personally like but it is a good option to have on hand. The prices are pretty average for a lingerie shop, ranging from $20 to $70.
Last on our list is AdoreMe. This site has a great variety of lingerie for almost all body types Products ranging from XS to 5X and bras 30A to 46DDD. Their products range from simple to sexy, perfect for every woman! Their prices are fairly reasonable, too. If you become a VIP member, your first set is only $24.95. Regularly those sets are $49.95. If you decided to become a member, don’t forget to skip the month if you decide not to shop because you will be charged full price.
